Family Service & Guidance Center - Youth Crisis & Recovery Center

The new Youth Crisis & Recovery Center was completed in the fall of 2023. Our team at Architect One was commissioned to review the existing facilities at Family Service and Guidance Center to find a solution for their growing need to better serve the demand for the services they provide throughout the state.

Their new Youth Crisis & Recovery Center will be able to serve up to 24 children and teens at a time who are experiencing extreme mental health crises and substance use disorders. While working with The Family Service & Guidance Center, we used principles of evidence-based and trauma informed design to guide us during this project. This facility will be a space for children and teens in crisis to feel safe and secure while they start the process of healing.
