Radiant Electric Cooperative

After outgrowing their outdated and inefficient facilities, Radiant Electric Cooperative—now 4-Rivers Electric Cooperative—partnered with Architect One to design a new office and shop facility. Our team developed a distinctive yet highly functional solution to support their long-term commitment to serving customers in Southeast Kansas. The result was a nearly 28,000-square-foot facility located just one mile south of Fredonia, Kansas, along US Route 400. Featuring modern architectural lines, the new space includes a 6,400-square-foot office and an 18,000-square-foot shop, along with a 2,900-square-foot mezzanine for materials and parts storage. Since opening in 2009, this thoughtfully designed facility has stood as a landmark on the Kansas prairie skyline, built with an investment mindset to serve generations of customers for years to come.
