Westar Energy (now Evergy) was occupying an outdated, metal building that no longer met the needs of the organization. They commissioned Architect One to help make their Lawrence office the model facility for future initiatives focused on environmental conservation. The 52,000 square foot addition and remodel was certified LEED Silver by the US Green Building Council, helping showcase Westar as a leader in energy efficiency. Architect One was instrumental in providing processes, resources and efficiencies to maintain sustainable construction practices.
