CoreFirst Bank
CoreFirst Bank asked Architect One to redesign multiple branches in Topeka. The company chose to renovate their headquarters instead of relocating, with a focus on preserving the original exterior. Changes included a new entry, reduced spandrel glass to allow more daylight, a rear employee entrance, and enclosed exterior stairs.
Interior finishes and equipment were removed, the lobby was reorganized, and the second floor was reconfigured to allow for more natural light. The escalator was replaced with an open staircase, and the elevator was modernized with a glass hoistway.
